OBC Story
Ocala Bicycle Center (OBC) opened for business in August of 2005. It was the goal of local owners, Dan and Carrie Miller, to operate a honest family owned business to provide superior service to local cyclists. Both owners, engineering graduates from Georgia Tech, understand the importance of great customer service and attention to detail in order to meet our customers expectations. Dan and Carrie chose Ocala for two reasons: (1) a great place to raise their three children Megan, Ryan, and Cody and (2) year round cycling in a great community.
In business since 2005, OBC has become an all inclusive cycling center. Offering bicycles from the top manufacture in the industry, TREK, we are able to meet all your bicycle and accessory needs for cycling venues including road, mountain, comfort, tri and BMX. OBC also offers repairs and maintenance on all models of bicycles by our dedicated and experienced repair center staff. Carrie, co-owner, has been certified to perform bicycle fits (road, tri, and mountain) to ensure you are performing at your best on your bicycle. At OBC, all our employees are avid cyclists so you can be assured that you are getting advice based on experience.
Owners Dan and Carrie also strive to ensure OBC gives back to the community. Based on this goal, OBC sponsors and participates in many local events and charities not all of which are bicycle related. Some events include:

Dan and Carrie Miller
DAN
Dan is our owner, mechanic, and sales guy! Dan has a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Dan worked in the petroleum pipeline business for several years before deciding to make bikes his life! His education and engineering experience are the reasons why Dan provides the highest level of attention to detail in any bicycle repair in Ocala.
Dan completed Ironman Louisville 2018!

CARRIE
Carrie is our owner and go-to-person for sales, inventory, accounting, marketing, and everything else it takes to run a business. She has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Carrie can be found many mornings riding at Santos or running and would love to get more ladies in Ocala on bikes!!! She has completed sprint, olympic and 70.3 distance triathlons.

RAY
Ray has over 20 years of bicycle mechanic experience. He recently relocated to Florida from Maryland and is enjoying the FL weather!
ERIK
Erik is a former snowboarder now living in the South. Erik spent several years working in South Florida but now calls Ocala his home. Erik is super happy to be close to the Santos trails so he can ride several times a week.

SCOTT
Scott joined us part time to learn the cycling business. In 2023, Scott retired from the Marion County Fire Department and now he has more time to ride! Scott is a former BMX racer turned trail rider.
